VPN Connection Setup Guide

Work through the setup in order, from your account to the client. Check your subscription in the dashboard, import it on your device, then test access to the service you want to use.

No email required Unlimited simultaneous connections Sign in to view subscription details

Create an account and save your login details

Open the “Free Trial” link below to access the VPNGC user dashboard. Create an account with a username and password—no email required. You’ll use the username to sign in later, so choose one that’s easy to recognize but doesn’t reveal too much personal information. Set a unique password and save it in a trusted password manager. Before submitting, check your entries to avoid saving a typo or temporary input as your login details.

Once your account is created, follow the on-screen instructions to open the account overview. If you’re still on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just saved. Make sure you can access the dashboard before choosing a plan. Creating an account does not activate a subscription; check the plan status shown in the account overview.

If you already have a VPNGC account, use the “Log In” link in the navigation instead of creating another one. You also don’t need a new account when switching computers or reinstalling a client. Your account manages orders and subscriptions; the client establishes the connection on your device. They serve different purposes.

Choose a plan and check your order status

In the plans section of the dashboard, first distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data allowances reset monthly from the activation date. Data packages are consumed as you use them and never expire: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Before choosing, compare billing methods—not just the most prominent prices on the page.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page. Check the plan name, amount, and payment method, then follow the on-screen instructions to pay. VPNGC supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; follow the instructions on the current order page. After payment, return to the dashboard to check the order and confirm that the plan is available in the account overview. Don’t assume the subscription is active just because the payment page has closed.

If the account overview hasn’t updated after payment, reload the dashboard and check your order history. If the status still doesn’t match, keep your order details and contact support through a dashboard ticket. Don’t pay again just to refresh the status. VPNGC offers a 7-day money-back guarantee; see the refund policy for details. When you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the confirmation details in the dashboard if you need to review the billing.

This guide covers only the decisions needed to complete your order. To compare data allowances and plan types side by side, visit the pricing page, then return to the dashboard when you’ve chosen a plan. Next, you’ll need your subscription details, so first make sure the plan is active in the account overview.

Get your subscription and add it to your client

Sign in to the user dashboard and open the account overview. Find the subscription details, then choose either Copy Subscription Link or the import option for your device's client. The subscription link lets your client fetch server configurations; it isn’t a regular webpage or an installer download. If opening it in a browser displays text or downloads a configuration file, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong.

To import manually, copy the link using the dashboard, then switch to your client and paste it. Copy the full link, not just the shortened portion visible on screen, and don’t include any surrounding instructions. If you haven’t installed a client yet, complete the installation in the next section and return to the account overview to copy the link. There’s no need to keep it in your chat history.

Your subscription link contains account access credentials, so keep it secure. Don’t post the full link in public forums when troubleshooting, and hide any credentials in screenshots. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN link shown here is only an example of the format and won’t connect. Get your actual subscription details from your own VPNGC dashboard.

If the dashboard offers a shortcut such as “Import into Client,” clicking it may prompt your system to open an app. First make sure the app is installed and check that it’s the client you want to import the configuration into, then allow the redirect. If the shortcut doesn’t work, copy the link instead. There’s no need to click repeatedly or look for subscription links elsewhere.

Install the client for your platform and import the configuration

Open the client downloads section in the dashboard and choose the VPNGC client for your device. Read the installation instructions in the same section. Clients for Windows / macOS / Android / Linux are available after you sign in; subscription details also require sign-in. For iOS, follow the availability instructions in the dashboard. Don’t use an installer for a different operating system or replace the recommended client based on a similar filename.

These steps apply to clients provided or recommended in the dashboard that support subscription imports. Menus may use labels such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” “Profiles,” or “Import from Link.” They all serve to add a remote configuration and fetch servers. If the client asks you to choose a format, use the import option or instructions for that client in the dashboard rather than guessing at a conversion setting.

Windows: Add a remote configuration and enable it

Choose the Windows client in the dashboard, install it, and open the app. Find subscription or configuration management, then select an option such as “Add,” “Import,” or “Import from Link.” Paste the full subscription link you copied from the account overview. If prompted for a name, choose one that’s easy to recognize. This is a local label and won’t change the subscription.

Save and update the configuration, then wait for the client to load the server list. Once the servers appear, set this configuration as the active one. Saving the link without enabling the configuration may leave the connection button using an older setup. The first time you connect, follow the app’s prompts to grant network permissions. Keep the client’s recommended connection settings for now; complete the basic checks before changing advanced options.

macOS: Approve the installation and network configuration

Choose the macOS client in the dashboard, follow its installation instructions, and launch it. If macOS asks you to confirm the app’s source or approve a network configuration, verify the app and its source, then follow the prompts in System Settings. Don’t disable unrelated system protections just to complete the installation.

Open the client’s configuration or subscription section, add a remote subscription, and paste the link. Save and update the configuration. If you use the dashboard’s quick import, make sure your browser opens the client you’re using. Once the server list loads, select this subscription and open the connection screen. If macOS asks to add a network configuration, approve it so the client can work in the selected mode.

Android: Import the subscription and approve the connection

Choose the Android client in the dashboard’s downloads section. During installation, check the source and app details as prompted by Android. Open the app, go to subscriptions or configurations, and choose the option to add from a link. Paste the full subscription link from the account overview, then save and update it. Copy and paste the link in one go if possible, so nothing else replaces it on your clipboard.

The first connection usually prompts you to authorize a network connection. Make sure the request comes from the client you’re using before allowing it. After connecting, test the service in its app. If the connection drops when you switch apps or lock your device, check the client’s background activity and battery settings. Options vary by device, so you don’t need to change every background setting during initial setup.

iOS: Check the availability instructions in the dashboard first

Choose iOS in the dashboard and follow the current instructions to get a compatible client. The dashboard handles iOS availability and permission requirements. If it reports an issue with your plan status, check the account overview first. Don’t apply download steps for other platforms to iOS. Once installation is complete, use the import method provided for that client in the dashboard.

To import manually, find the option to add a subscription or configuration from a link in the client, paste your subscription, and update it. When connecting, iOS may ask to allow a network configuration; follow the on-screen prompts. Return to the client to check the active configuration and selected server, then open the service you want to use. A connection icon only confirms that a network configuration is active. You’ll still need to test access as described in the next section.

Connect to a server and test access

Once the configuration has updated, choose a server in a region supported by the service you want to use, then connect. Start with a supported region; there’s no need to cycle through several regions at once. VPNGC covers 110+ countries with 170+ routes. See the current client list for available options, or visit the server list to learn how to choose a region.

Test in this order: client status, website access, and your intended task. First, confirm the client shows as connected and is using the subscription you just imported. Next, open the website you want to use and check that it loads. Finally, try the actual task—for example, submitting a request to an AI tool or playing content available to your account on a streaming platform. A page loading successfully doesn’t necessarily mean sign-in, requests, and playback are all working.

If regular websites work but a service reports a region or account restriction, don’t assume the subscription import failed. The platform may also check your account region, service availability, and its own access policies. Keep other conditions the same and try a route that meets the service’s regional requirements, then test again. This can help identify where the issue occurs. A connection service doesn’t change your account permissions or replace a content subscription.

If none of your destinations are accessible, first check that the subscription updated, a server is selected, the connection is on, and system permissions are granted. Change one setting at a time and test before moving on. Avoid running multiple tools that modify your network connection at once, so you can tell which configuration is active. If the issue persists, see the connection troubleshooting guide in the Help Center or open a dashboard support ticket. Include your operating system, the client message, and when the issue occurs—but never include your full subscription credentials.

Once verified, repeat the steps—get the client, import your subscription, and test the connection—on other devices. The same subscription supports unlimited simultaneous connections. If the server list changes later, update the subscription in your client; you don’t need to create another account.
